Floody Day Activities

We tried to get out of the house for a predeluge bikeride but had to cut it short because the rain came a day early. So I decided that we needed a good old fashioned arts & crafts session. So those of you that are the type that would appreciate a valentine, handmade by a toddler, will be receiving one in the mail come February.

Party Time

Now that many of our friends have had kids we are on a constant loop of birthday parties. This is a picture of Lilly reveling in her loot bag from Brandon Kelley's 1st birthday party. It was fun but wild. In the words of Wendy, "Those two years olds really tore up my house!" No one got hurt or fell in the pool so I think it was a success.

My Little Spicy Tuna Roll

This picture didn't turn out so well but she cracked me up so much that I thought it was worth posting anyway. Lilly put this vacuum cleaner filter on her head and then called out to me and said, "Look Mommy, I sushi!" She's a funny girl! At least I think so.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho!

We joined some friends, Steve and Shelly, who have a boat in Marina Del Rey.

Rene took the girls, Lilly and Mary, out in the dingy before we set sail.

Both girls projectile vomited on their moms and then went to sleep for most of the trip.But the "Puke & Rally" was just as effective that day, as in the good ol' days.
They both fully recovered and then ended the day with some very skillful balloon animal and hat making. The yellow one is a snake.
