Normalcy

We have had several visitors over the last few months. It has been great. Lilly is, for the most part, a mellow baby. I think it has been nice, at least I hope so, for our friends without children to see that you can have a kid and still live a normal adult life. Rene and I still manage to read books, watch TV, have discussions and enjoy being a couple. However, it is safe to say that not all babies are like Lilly and she just might be a major trickster. She could be lulling you all into a false sense of the possibility for having a kickback baby. What you guys don't realize is that the only reason she is calm is because we zonk her out with whiskey in her bottles-Just Kidding! Anywho, we have thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company. It is such a treat to see her be such a welcoming hostess. She's so obviously going to be a people person.
These are pictures of Lilly with our friend Beth. She officiated our marriage and five years later she is playing with our baby. Oh, how life has changed, but fortunately our friendships have remained and have even grown stronger.

La Normalidad

Hemos tenido mucha compañía este mes. A sido genial. Lilly es una bebe calmada, la mayoría del tiempo. A sido bonito ver a nuestros amigos que no tienen hijos, han tenido la oportunidad de ver que uno puede tener hijos y mantener una vida normal. René y yo todavía hacemos tiempo para leer, ver Tele, tener discusiones y darnos gusto siendo una pareja. Pero, con seguridad puedo decir que no todos los bebes son como Lilly, y quizás en un futuro va ser traviesa. Puede ser que los está embaucando a creer que es una niña relajada. Lo que no saben es que solo aparece ser calmada porque le ponemos whiskey en su pacha para mantenerla así. Son bromas. Bueno, de todos modos, nos hemos divertido con nuestra compañía. A sido un placer para nosotros ver que Lilly es una anfitriona acogedora. Obviamente va a ser una persona muy sociable.

Estas son fotos de Lilly con nuestra amiga Beth. Para nuestra boda, ella nos casó, y cinco años después está jugando con nuestro bebe. Ay, como cambia la vida, pero afortunadamente hemos mantenido nuestras amistades, y continúan a crecer.
